2024 Fall Ball Interest List

Interest for Fall Ball has started. If we'll plan on opening registration in June through the beginning of August. The season will begin September and runs to the middle of November, weather permitting.

This program will help continue to grow Rosamond Little League!

Fall ball is open to anyone who meets the age requirements, per Little League. Fall Ball age dates go off of the Spring Season league age calendar. You do *not* have to have played in Rosamond Little League in the spring to with us in the Fall Season. Depending on field availability and division, each team will play one game per week, and have one or two practices a week. Game schedules are designed as much as possible to avoid conflicts with other youth sports such as soccer and football as we know our players usually have other sports they participate in during the Fall Season.

The focus of Fall Ball is developmental. This enables our managers and Coaches to offer instruction and games to returning players, as well as to those who did not play during the spring season. In many cases, it also gives players exposure to the next level of play; i.e. the level they will be eligible to play next spring. We always recommend players who are interested in moving up next Spring should play up this Fall. For example, if your child was in the Minor division and will be league age 12/11/10 next Spring, then register for Major division, as it will help them adjust much easier next Spring. Managers should be aware this is the case & be extra patient in developing players this Fall.

The cost will be reduced from Spring Ball due to no trophies and pictures. The players will get a hat and jersey.

Fall Ball is more laid back compared to Spring Ball. It is more like instructional backyard ball. There are far fewer teams. Managers will be encouraged to rotate players around to different positions (while still teaching the positions), especially pitcher & catcher.
There are no tryouts in the fall. Players are placed on teams by the Player Agent. Please indicate your interest in managing or coaching.
